Instructions - mounting printed stickers

Your complimentary set contains three transparent stickers printed in white. These are produced with highest quality materials and processes and designed to last many years. They are suitable for windows, but also any other smooth to slightly matte surface, such as wall panels or furniture.
For optimal placement, we recommend the wet-mount method.

You need:
- sticker;
- clean water; +
- one very small drop of plain dishwashing liquid;
- clean soft cloth;
- masking tape (or a whiteboard marker for glass);
- level (optional, but helpful);
- ordinary smooth plastic card.

1. clean

Clean the complete mounting area. Remove dust, grease, fingerprints, and cleaner residue. Small pieces of dust can remain visible under the transparent sticker.

2. mark

Hold the sticker near the planned position while the backing paper is still attached. Use a level for optimal results.

Place short guide marks just outside the final sticker edge:

- left and right marks show the horizontal level;
- upper and lower marks show the vertical centre.

The block lettering makes any rotation easy to see. Also check that the sticker is centred and symmetrical.

On clear glass, you can place the marks on the opposite side. Do not place marks under the sticker on the mounting side. The marks can remain visible and become impossible to remove.

3. mist / moisten

Dry mounting is usually okay for a slightly matt surface.
wet mounting helps air excape on glossy surfaces to prevent air bubbles.

You can lightly moisten the surface with:

- a mister or spray bottle;
- a clean wet hand; or
- a clean damp cloth.

4. apply and position

Remove the sticker from the backing paper. Hold the sticker with both hands at opposite edges. Curve it slightly into a shallow U-shape, away from the mounting surface.

Align the horizontal lettering with the left and right guide marks. Keep the sticker centred between the upper and lower marks. You can rest your hands or fingers on the surface beside the planned position for control.

Let the centre of the sticker touch first. Then lower both edges gently. The adhesive contact should move from the centre towards both sides.

5. Press out moisture and air

You can place the removed backing paper over the printed face if desired.

Use the plastic card to press firmly from the centre outward. Make straight strokes that overlap. Push moisture / bubbles out the nearest edge. Do not try to lift the sticker once pressed on. to correct a bubble.

Permanent adhesive - do not lift or reposition after contact.

6. Wipe and wait

Wipe away excess water.

Wet mounting can cause temporary milky, cloudy, or blotchy areas. These should dissappear in 1-2 days as the sticker dries.

Should air bubbles remain after a drying period, these must be lanced with a fine needle to release the trapped air.
